I spent many years designing newspapers, books and magazines that were read the old fashioned way - on paper. Now they seem like artifacts. I do all my reading on a screen. I’ve made this tiny book pendant, strung on a chain - artifact as jewelry. 

The pendant is 1.5 x 1 inches with a 36 inch gilded leather cord which ties at the neck. The book/pendant itself is fabricated from ‘washable’ paper (cellulose + synthetic latex) paper. Each page is: hand printed by me on an etching press. Colors are black, white and grey - a little yellow, and a bit of 24k gold leaf.
