This dark green and silver necklace is made of ‘washable paper’ - a German-made product of cellulose and synthetic latex. I was inspired by a favorite hiking locale - invoking the rocks and deep woods. I hand paint and cut these ‘stones’ and then assemble the piece with vinyl coated stainless steel cable and silver glass beads. It has a hand-fabricated sterling silver toggle clasp. The piece is super light and 24 inches long. It will fall about 6.5 inches below the wearer's collar bone. While I would not suggest actually washing it, the necklace is quite sturdy and impervious to water!
