I spent many years designing newspapers, books and magazines that were read the old fashioned way - on paper. Now they seem like artifacts. I do all my reading on a screen. I’ve made this tiny book pendant, strung on a chain - artifact as jewelry. 

This black, white and silver pendant is 1.5 x 1 inches with a 32 inch oxidized sterling silver rolo chain. The book/pendant itself is fabricated from textured, oxidized sterling silver, cast epoxy resin and 12 gauge sterling silver wire. Each page is: hand painted, or printed, or hand drawn polypropylene. Sterling silver 'S' clasp.
