This deep red necklace is made of ‘washable paper’ - a German-made product of cellulose and synthetic latex. I hand paint and cut these playful biomorphic petals and then assemble the piece with vinyl coated stainless steel cable and red glass beads. It has a hand-fabricated sterling silver ‘s’ clasp. The piece is super light and 20 inches long. It will fall about 5 inches below the wearer's collar bone. While I would not suggest actually washing it, the necklace is quite sturdy and impervious to water!
