The earrings are made of reticulated, oxidized sterling silver and hand-pained ‘washable paper’ - a German-made product of cellulose and synthetic latex. They're assembled with vinyl coated stainless steel cable and sterling silver. The earrings are super light, and 3 inches long. While I would not recommend washing your earrings, they are quite sturdy! Sterling silver posts and nuts.
